Rain, rain, go away ….
Well, you know how it goes.
For those who may not be aware, today begins the Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival. And as of the writing of this blog, the forecast is not looking favorable for an outdoor festival. Having been involved with this event almost since its inception, I should be used to the weather-related scrambling that takes place just about every year.
But I’m not.
I try to keep my sunny side up, but sometimes optimism wanes. Right now, I could use a good dose of sunshine, literally and figuratively.
So I’m asking all of you out there to think a good thought on behalf of the Regatta. And, if you live in the vicinity, come out and support the event, despite the forecast. A lot hard work and planning has gone into this, and it would be a shame if we let Mother Nature cast a shadow over what is an awesome event.
