I hereby make a motion that all three-day weekends should become four-day weekends.

After all, when I come back to work on Tuesday, I’m already way behind — what’s one more day?

Today I find myself with a long list of to-dos and no ambition to do any of it. But it was a wonderful weekend — time spent with great friends, wonderful barbecue, a bit of Jeeping, a pedicure on a rainy Sunday, taking in the flea markets at Okoboji and finally, sitting on the deck with my honey and watching the world go by.

I could do with one more day of that.

So, any seconds on my motion? Any discussion? All in favor, say aye!
