Scratch That

I think I’m about to lose my  mind. (Some of my friends may question if that didn’t happen a long time ago, but I assure you it is still there — most of the time.)

This winter weather has given me the dry skin itch. It’s almost as bad as having the chicken pox, which, by the way, I had age 26 so I still remember THAT itch quite clearly.

I have tried every lotion and remedy I can think of, but still the itch persists. I even tried to take a cool shower this morning — not easy to do just after crawling out of a warm bed. I may have to start wearing gloves to bed, as I woke myself up in the middle of the night — scratching!

I know this, too, shall pass, along with the frigid weather. But if anybody has any suggestions of how to alleviate the extreme itchiness in the meantime, I’d love to hear.

Try Sarna, it’s an anti-itch lotion. It’s quite expensive, so you can get the Walgreen’s brand which is basically the same thing.
