Tis the day after Christmas and all through the mall,
Many creatures are stirring in search of bargains large and small …
I’ve never been a day-after bargain shopper, nor a Black Friday shopper, either. I’ve never liked frenzied shopping situations.
Truth be told, I’m not the shopper I used to be. There was a time when I used to enjoy the process, but now I prefer to get it done as painlessly as possible.
A week ago, Hubby Bryan and I checked off the last few names on our shopping list, doing so — and stopping at the grocery store, too — in less than an hour and a half. There’s no lingering when shopping with Bryan. You’re in and you’re out, and the task is done.
Today, I know that at least one of my bargain-hunter friends will be out there, making returns and trying to find even better deals. I’m all about the deal, I just don’t want to fight the crowds to get it. I’ll wait a few days until the frenzy dies down. Maybe by then, there’ll be even bigger reductions.
